Comic Con Pic of the Day: Friday
Tron owns this year. If you were lucky enough to stumble into “Flynn’s Arcade” on sixth street, you were guided through a back door into Flynn’s secret lab… which opened up into a hallway that guided you into… the world of Tron. The new trailer played on the wall you see here. And I mean the WHOLE wall. Can. Not. Wait.

Comic Con Pic of the Day: Thursday
This is equal parts awesome, nerdy and funny. Awesome: This guy made his own War Machine suit from scratch himself. Nerdy: At some point, he had to stand at a Starbucks or an ATM or a urinal dressed like this. Funny: When you build a weapons suit, make sure your shoulder-mounted gatlin gun doesn’t point at the back of your head.
Okay, it’s probably just the camera angle. But I’m still concerned.

Comic Con is Coming!
It’s only two days until the San Diego Comic Con (or “Christmas In July,” as I call it) and I’m as excited as THIS little guy here.
I’ll be at the geek mecca from Thursday to Sunday, when they will no doubt ask me to leave the exhibit floor as they turn the lights out. This is a great time for me. I get inspired by the new artists I discover, I am energized by the pure fanboy love, and I’m always interested to see what the studio hype machine rolls out, and how they do it. I’m looking forward to meeting up with several old friends in the business, and will hopefully meet some new ones.
Each year, I usually do a Comic Con wrap-up after it’s all over, with some pics. This year, I’m going to keep it simple, posting my “PIC OF THE DAY” each night. Just one image that rises to the top as the most funny, or frightening, or impressive.
And if YOU are going to Comic Con this year and you see someone who looks like the picture below, walk up and say hello! And if it’s not me, let me know, because I don’t want some punk walking around looking like me.
