A Very Thin Update
Sorry guys. The reason there have been no updates here in such a long time is because there is nothing to report. I am in a baffling holding pattern. The last draft of my Fraggle Rock script received raves, quite a while ago. It is now in the hands of bigger people than me. Beyond that I have no real info to give.
In the meantime, I am simultaneously prepping three pitches at once for other features. All different genres, all extremely fun. But yes, I really, really, really, really, really want to make a Fraggle movie this year.
So you can all join me in “sitting tight,” something I don’t do very well at all. The best thing to do while you’re waiting is to go see Up, one of the best films I’ve seen…. ever.

Yeah, sure, we'll all be sitting tight — just like a six-year-old in the theater waiting for the lights to dim and the Fraggle Rock movie to start.
Just let us know when you want the letter-writing campaign to begin 😉

Not the big update I was expecting, but it's good to see that by the looks of it, your script is actually happening! I'm very excited for the movie and very excited for you, Cory. You're playing such a big part in the big Henson revival and for that I want to say thanks.
So, if all does well, would you assume that Weinstein and Henson will have the film shooting by the end of the year?

No way to know at this point. My hope was to shoot this summer, but I have no indications to go on right now.
And to answer AJ, "Star Trek" rocked. Everything a real summer movie should be.

Cory! A bunch of us are sitting at work talking about the Fraggles. 🙂 DON'T give up! We're all excited about a midnight showing – knowing full well the entire theater will be packed with 21 – 35 year olds waiting to see it. The world is ready for the Fraggles, and we can't wait to see it!!! Just let the world know what we need to do to make sure it happens!
